Prepare the record before building the PDF

Before exporting, open the soldier’s saved test and compare it with the recorded event results. Check the name, rank, age, unit, MOS where entered, test date, and general or combat standard. Correcting a record first is easier than circulating an inaccurate PDF.

Review raw results and event points side by side. A time such as 18:23 should remain 18 minutes, 23 seconds throughout the record and scorecard. Don’t use a result from a different test cycle to fill a gap in the current test.

The Army’s ATP 7-22.01 scorecard instructions describe recording demographic information and event results, verifying raw scores, and the soldier’s signature. Check current form requirements and your unit’s processing instructions before using a PDF for an official purpose.

Export a saved test in AFT Ready

  1. Open the soldier’s profile. Saved test results appear in that soldier’s history. If you haven’t saved a test yet, complete and save it first.
  2. Tap Generate DA 705. PDF generation is a Pro feature. The app presents the upgrade flow if Pro is not active.
  3. Select the tests to include. The form builder accepts up to four saved tests and places them oldest to newest. Check the selected dates; include only the records you intend to share.
  4. Tap View DA Form 705. Review the generated PDF in the app before sending it anywhere.
  5. Use Share / Export. Choose an available destination in your phone’s share sheet to save or share the PDF. Printing options depend on your device and available apps.

Check the PDF before sharing

An exported PDF does not automatically sign a scorecard, certify a test, or submit results to an Army system. Keep the source results available for the person reviewing the record. If a receiving office needs a particular form revision or packet format, confirm it before submission.

If the export option is missing

Check that you are opening a soldier with at least one saved test. The Generate DA 705 action appears when test history is available. If you already purchased Pro, check the app’s Settings and use Restore Purchases when needed; purchasing and restoring require an internet connection.

For an official blank scorecard and current guidance, start with the resources on the Army AFT website and the Army Publishing Directorate. For app help, contact AFT Ready support.
